I was on a camping trip with my scout troop a few years back, and the patrols were all in separate campsites (we were pretty much in viewing distance from each other, though). On this particular campout, all the troops in the council were doing "pioneering" demonstrations. My patrol was demonstrating how candles were made. The process is fairly simple: melt several blocks of paraffin wax, dip a wick inside the liquid, place the wick in a bucket of water, and repeat as necessary.&nb
